Nik Huber Dolphin Custom (2006)

Finally, my first own custom guitar, after owning already 2 earlier versions of Niks amazing guitars. We started with the concept for that one in summer 2005. Basically its a regular Dolphin but you can choose from various options as well as some minor changes such as the Sweet Switch that I prefer over a tone control.

This guitar combines all my preferences from every of my favorite guitars such as PRS Custom, my other Dolphins, Ibanez USA Custom etc.

When I finally received it I was very pleased with the result!  My main guitar, aside from the Santana-III.

- Mahogany body (one-pc.)
- Highly figured flame maple top
- bound rosewood fretboard with dolphin inlays at 12th fret
- fixed bridge, string-through
- Chrome hardware
- Schaller M6 locking tuners
- Häussel HB-Hot and P90-HB pickups with maple rings
- 1x volume, push-pull
- 3-way switch
- Sweet switch

Options: matching headstock, semi-hollow, bound fingerboard, inlays, color, neck shape
